Hawkeye Hill would like to acknowledge the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the Saukiing Anishnaabekiing (Saugeen Ojibway), Odawa and Anishinabeqaki on which we are planting, working and communing today. As human rights activists, we are making the effort to learn about the rich indigenous history directly from the local community and leaders. We pledge to honour the connection to its indigenous heritage, provide opportunities for healing and commit to the stewardship of this sacred land we now call home.
