Business Plan - Wrap Up

Updated: Feb 13

Now that you are nearing the end of your brain storming process and have read our How-To Series "Business Plan" to help you create a Business Plan for your homestead, you can continue to fill in all of the headings with your thoughts, inspirations and explanations.

This list of things to think about is one way to flesh out your plan, get started and make real progress.

By penning this rough draft, you’ll really start to garner motivation. When great ideas flow, allow the creative visualization to soar.

Final Draft

You are now forming the final draft as you add in details wherever they belong. There are many templates and apps out there for business plans that can be very helpful to firm up your ideas and build confidence. I used a word template and you're welcome to re-use it with your own ideas. {Please see a teaser of our business plan here (.pdf)}

Wrap Up

As a reminder, you should be able to answer the following questions. Are you still stuck? Is there one particular area you need help with? Comment below and our community can weigh in and offer inspiration.

Vision

What will your business accomplish? How will you inspire others to unite and move towards a shared purpose?

Mission

Why do it? Why does your vision matter?

Objective

What are you going to do? What are you going to create?

Strategy

How will you do it?

Contingency

What if?

Financing

Where will the money come from?

Partnering

Who do you work well with? What is their level of interest?

Marketing

How will you market yourself? What do you want your business to look like?

Hints

If you're looking for something to keep you motivated and assist in your everyday taxes, the #reMarkable 2 is really easy on the eyes and allows you to automatically convert your notes to text and finish your editing on the computer.

When you're feeling stuck and get the ultimate #writersblock, remember, thoughts and visualization really matter. Don’t even allow room for negative thinking. When you get discouraged recognize it and say STOP! Then go back to that vision of Eden you’ve already created and you won’t need to look back.

“You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.”
