Lemon Balm (Melissa Officinalis)


Part Used: Leaves

Height: 5ft tall

Preparation: Dried leaves as infusion or tincture (2-3 times/day for nerves)

Companion: Rosemary

  • Dabbed infusion on a cold sore or insect bite to bring quick relief

  • Bitter-lemon taste used in liqueurs, digestifs (incl Benedictine)
